The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has announced lane closures for the week of February 6-12, 2025, across several counties in Middle Tennessee. These closures are part of ongoing construction and maintenance activities.

In Davidson County, work on I-24 will include resurfacing near I-440 to Haywood Lane with alternating lane and ramp closures scheduled nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Additionally, there will be vegetation removal and milling and paving operations affecting specific lanes at various times.

Davidson and Rutherford Counties will see survey, drilling, and drainage operations on I-24 with inside lane closures in both directions during nighttime hours. Meanwhile, Rutherford County's I-24 will undergo resurfacing from Stones River to east of the CSXT Railroad.

Bridge repairs on I-40 in Humphreys County will necessitate temporary lane closures between Squeeze Bottom Road and Buffalo River Bridge each night. In Davidson County, grading, drainage, bridge construction, retaining walls, and paving work on I-40 at the Donelson Pike interchange will result in alternating lane closures nightly.

Wilson County is set for blasting activities on I-40 from February 10 to February 12 with rolling roadblocks between ramps for blasting purposes. Aerial fiber installation is also planned on February 9.

Maury County anticipates a rolling roadblock for aerial fiber crossing installation on I-65 scheduled for February 16. Cheatham County's SR 249 project involves constructing a concrete box beam bridge over Dry Creek.

Additional projects across various counties include intersection improvements, ADA curb ramp upgrades, pothole patching operations, and other construction activities that may cause temporary disruptions or detours.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in all TDOT work zones regardless of activity levels. The information provided by contractors is subject to change based on weather conditions. Travelers can access real-time updates through SmartWay traffic cameras or by dialing 511 for travel information.
