2024: Tennessee’s estate and gift taxes collections were down, changing by 90.9% from the previous year
Out of the $24.2 billion in total tax revenue collected by Tennessee in 2024, $7,000 came from estate and gift taxes, representing a decrease from the previous year, when the total was $77,000, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).
