Motorists across East Tennessee are advised to exercise caution and anticipate potential delays as numerous construction projects and road closures are underway from February 6-12, 2025. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has released a detailed report highlighting areas affected by construction activities and storm-related damages.

In Blount County, the I-140 corridor between Mile Markers 11 and 0 is experiencing shoulder closures, with possible lane closures during nighttime hours due to roadside construction. On SR 162 Pellissippi Parkway, traffic is reduced to one lane for bridge work, with potential rolling roadblocks for blasting operations.

Campbell County's I-75 between Mile Markers 156 and 161 may see nightly lane closures, while SR 63 faces temporary lane closures due to ongoing construction. Carter County has significant disruptions with the closure of US 321/SR 67 Bridge over Doe River and US 321/SR 159 sections due to storm damage.

Cocke County's I-40 East at Mile Marker 451 remains closed following recent storms, restricting through traffic access to North Carolina. Truck traffic is rerouted via I-81 North or I-26 East. In Greene County, the SR 107 Bridge over Nolichucky River is closed for repairs caused by storm events.

Additional projects in Hamblen County involve concrete rehabilitation on US 25/SR 32 and guardrail repairs on I-81 South near Mile Marker 7.9. In Hawkins County, motorists should expect temporary lane closures on SR 346 during daylight hours.

Jefferson County sees improvements at the intersection of SR 113 and SR 341, causing daily lane closures. Meanwhile, Knox County reports multiple nighttime lane closures along various interstates for maintenance activities.

Loudon County's I-40 ramps at Exit 364 will undergo concrete repairs leading to ramp detours over the weekend of February 7-9. Monroe County’s bridge repair project on US 411/SR33 continues with single-lane traffic control until July.

Unicoi County faces major restrictions on I-26 due to narrow lanes prohibiting vehicles wider than ten feet from passing through certain areas. Widespread storm damage has led to several road sections being closed entirely in Unicoi and Washington Counties.
