The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced the availability of low-interest disaster loans for small business owners affected by severe weather events that took place from May 21 to May 27, 2024. These events included storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, landslides, and mudslides.

Business owners in the counties of Campbell, Claiborne, Henry, Montgomery, Robertson, Stewart, and Sumner are eligible to apply for these loans. The SBA encourages those affected to visit their website at SBA.gov/disaster for more information and to submit applications.

The deadline for filing applications related to physical property damage is set for September 23. Meanwhile, applications addressing economic injury must be submitted by April 23, 2025.
