Small business owners from Tennessee convened at the State Capitol for the National Federation of Independent Business's (NFIB) annual Small Business Day. The event provided NFIB members with a platform to discuss important issues impacting Main Street businesses with legislators and state leaders.

The day started with an address by Governor Bill Lee’s Policy Director, Michael Hendrix, who presented an overview of the governor’s 2025 agenda.

Newly elected representatives Renea Jones from Unicoi and Rick Scarbrough from Clinton shared their experiences as new legislators. Both are serving in the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing districts HD 4 and HD 33, respectively.
