Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee to discuss financial matters at upcoming meeting

The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee will hold a public meeting on April 8, 2025, at 12 p.m. Central time. The event is scheduled to take place at the Ellington Agricultural Center, specifically in the Bruer Building located at 406 Hogan Road, Nashville, TN 37220. The meeting agenda includes the approval of the redirect of checkoff funds for the fiscal year 2025.

Committee members will be permitted to participate through electronic means. The session is open to public attendance, and interested participants can join via an internet-based teleconferencing system without any fee. Instructions for joining the meeting have been provided.

Part of the meeting is allocated for public comments, which can be submitted orally or in writing concerning the committee's business. The Tennessee Dairy Promotion Committee consists of 11 members. These members are individuals who have been directly impacted by the assessment paid by dairy producers for promoting milk and milk products. Membership reflects how milk is marketed, whether through agricultural dairy cooperatives or direct sales.

To make a comment during the meeting, participants can click the Raise Hand button to be acknowledged by the Chairman.
