The Tennessee Pest Control Advisory Board is scheduled to meet on April 1, 2025, at the Ellington Agricultural Center's Moss Building in Nashville. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Central Time and is open to the public.

Key items on the agenda include the approval of previous meeting minutes, a report on revisions to pesticide certification and licensing exams, and an overview of the commercial applicators portal. There will also be an opportunity for public comment during the meeting, which can be submitted orally or in writing concerning matters before the board.

The board consists of seven members representing both the pest control industry and consumers. It plays a crucial role in setting standards for licensing across various categories of pesticide applications and advises the Tennessee Department of Agriculture on pest control issues and regulatory matters.

For further information, interested parties can contact Pesticide Program Director Kathy Booker from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture’s Consumer and Industry Services Division at 615-837-5133 or via email at Kathy.Booker@tn.gov.
