SBA offers disaster loans for storm damage in May 2024

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is extending low-interest disaster loans to small business owners affected by severe weather events that took place from May 21 to May 27, 2024. These events included severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, landslides, and mudslides.

Business owners in the counties of Campbell, Claiborne, Henry, Montgomery, Robertson, Stewart, and Sumner are eligible to apply for these loans.

To access more information and apply, affected parties are advised to visit the SBA's disaster assistance website at SBA.gov/disaster. The deadline for submitting applications related to physical property damage is September 23, 2024. For economic injury applications, the deadline is April 23, 2025.
