The NFIB Tennessee PAC has initiated a digital advertising campaign urging citizens to support "Tennessee’s Main Street Champions" in the upcoming August 1 primary elections. The campaign emphasizes the significance of electing candidates who advocate for small businesses.

Jim Brown, NFIB State Director, stated, "The outcome of this year’s legislative races will determine much of the small business agenda in Nashville the next two years. It’s important that Tennesseans elect the candidates who support Main Street businesses."

The ads guide readers to a dedicated website, NFIB.com/TNSmallBizChampions, providing details on voting hours and locations and listing 19 legislative candidates endorsed by the NFIB Tennessee PAC for the primary. Among those endorsed are Jon Lundberg (Senate District 4), Becky Duncan Massey (Senate District 6), Ken Yager (Senate District 12), Ferrell Haile (Senate District 18), Patsy Hazlewood (House District 27), and Chris Todd (House District 73). Notably, some of these candidates are also members of NFIB.

Brown mentioned that further endorsements for general election races would be announced after the August 1 primary. The endorsement from NFIB Tennessee PAC is considered vital for these campaigns due to the active participation of small business owners and their employees in elections. Their support is grounded in evaluating candidates' stances and records on issues affecting small businesses.
