The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has endorsed Representative Mark Green for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives. The endorsement supports Green's candidacy to continue representing Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District.
Jim Brown, NFIB Tennessee State Director, stated, "Congressman Mark Green is a steadfast small business supporter who understands the significant challenges and uncertainty that many entrepreneurs are facing." He added that Green's efforts have fostered a positive business environment beneficial for job creation and growth.
Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, highlighted Green's legislative contributions by saying, "Rep. Green is a champion for Main Street in Congress." She noted his role as an original co-sponsor of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act aimed at preserving the 20% Small Business Deduction and praised his perfect voting record with NFIB.
The endorsement comes from NFIB FedPAC, which is funded by voluntary contributions from its members beyond their regular dues. The decision-making process within NFIB FedPAC involves grassroots evaluations led by its members.
