The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has released its weekly construction report for East Tennessee, covering the period from February 20 to 26, 2025. The report highlights various road and bridge projects that will affect traffic in several counties.

In Blount County, I-140 East and West between Mile Markers 11 and 0 will experience shoulder closures with possible lane closures at night due to roadside construction activities. Similarly, SR 162 Pellissippi Parkway is reduced to one lane for bridge work, with potential rolling roadblocks for blasting operations.

Campbell County's I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 156 and 161 may see nightly lane closures. Additionally, SR 63 between Frontier Road/Woodson Lane and Claiborne County Line could have temporary lane closures during the day as part of ongoing construction efforts.

In Carter County, two sections of US 321/SR 67 are closed due to storm damage. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes around these areas.

Cocke County faces a closure on I-40 East at Mile Marker 451 due to storm damage. Local traffic is permitted between Hartford Road and Waterville Road, but no through traffic access is available to North Carolina via I-40.

Several other counties including Greene, Hamblen, Hawkins, Jefferson, Johnson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Sevier, Sullivan, Unicoi, Union, and Washington also have active construction projects or storm-related closures affecting roads and bridges. These include various repairs requiring lane reductions or complete closures.
