FOIA Request to Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia Inc. Regarding Student Admission List for 2024-25 on December 12, 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability in public institutions, we at Volunteer State News have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia Inc. The request was sent on December 12, 2024, under the provisions of the Tennessee Open Records Act, §10-7-503 et seq.

The records requested include a comprehensive list of all students admitted to the school for the academic year 2024-25. We have specifically asked for information that includes each student's name, home zip code or hometown, and the name of their graduated high school.

As a media organization dedicated to providing accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, access to such public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. This includes holding public institutions accountable and ensuring transparency for the public we serve.
