FOIA Request to Rhodes College Regarding Student Admission List for 2024-25 on December 12, 2024.
As part of our commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Volunteer State News have submitted a request under the Tennessee Open Records Act, §10-7-503 et seq., for records from Rhodes College.
Our request specifically seeks a list of all students admitted to the school for the academic year of 2024-25. The requested list should include the following fields: Student Name, Home Zip/Hometown, and Graduated High School Name.
As a media organization, access to public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. These responsibilities include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. Given our role in disseminating information, we believe we are eligible for a fee waiver as media professionals.
