On Saturday, 07/09/2022, approximately 430am, Sheriff's Deputies responded to multiple vehicle burglaries in the area of Pumpkin Branch Rd and Dog Branch Rd. Deputies and THP Trooper tracked and attempted to locate the suspect throughout the morning. An emergency notification was sent to homes in the area. About 1pm, Sheriff Russell found the suspect, Chris Thompson, hiding in a culvert on Dog Branch Rd. Thompson was arrested for a parole violation, failure to appear and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Investigation of the burglaries is in progress.
