The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has released its lane closure report for Middle Tennessee, covering March 13 to 19, 2025. The report details numerous roadworks and maintenance activities scheduled across various counties, impacting major highways and state routes.
In Davidson County, significant work on I-24 includes a triple right lane closure westbound for digital messaging sign replacement from mile marker (MM) 57.2 to 59.2 on March 13. Barrier wall and guardrail repairs will cause nightly alternating lane closures eastbound at Exit 50A. Milling operations will also lead to double lane closures eastbound at MM 62.2.
Both Davidson and Cheatham Counties will see nightly alternating lane closures on I-24 for flat sheet sign replacement between MM 27 and MM 40.
Survey and drainage operations are planned for Davidson and Rutherford Counties along I-24, with double inside lane closures in both directions from MM 52 to MM 75 during nighttime hours.
In Rutherford County, resurfacing activities on I-24 near the Stones River will necessitate alternating lane closures between MM 78 and MM 82. Off-ramp improvements on I-24 westbound include various lane adjustments for barrier wall modifications at the US-231 interchange.
Humphreys County's I-40 will experience temporary right lane closures eastbound at MM 139 for fiber installation as part of SmartWay Intelligent Transportation Maintenance efforts. Bridge repairs over Squeeze Bottom Road and Buffalo River Bridge require nightly temporary lane closures in both directions between MM 140 and MM 142.
Davidson County's I-40 will undergo multiple projects, including Harpeth River Bridge repair with mobile operations from MM 194 to MM 196, bridge construction under the I-40/12th Avenue corridor at MM 209, grading work at Donelson Pike Interchange involving rolling roadblocks from MM 214.4 to MM 218, as well as survey and drainage operations causing double lane closures between MMs212.4and216.
