The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has announced its schedule for lane closures in Middle Tennessee from March 6 to March 12, 2025. These closures are part of various maintenance and construction projects across the region.

In Davidson County on I-24, a triple right lane closure is scheduled for March 13 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for digital messaging sign replacement between mile markers (MM) 57.2 and 59.2.

Davidson and Cheatham Counties will see nightly alternating lane closures on I-24 from MM 27 to MM 40 due to flat sheet sign replacements.

In Davidson and Rutherford Counties, double inside lane closures on I-24 will occur nightly between MM 52 and MM 67 for survey, drainage cleaning, drilling, and inspection work.

Rutherford County's I-24 will have alternating lane closures from MM 78 to MM 82 nightly for paving activities near the Stones River extending east of the CSXT Railroad.

Humphreys County’s I-40 eastbound will experience temporary right lane closures at night for fiber installation at MM 139. Simultaneously, bridge repairs over Squeeze Bottom Road and Buffalo River Bridge will necessitate temporary lane closures on both directions of I-40 between MM 140 and MM 142.

On I-40 in Davidson County, multiple repair projects are ongoing: Harpeth River Bridge repair involves daily and nightly lane closures; SmartWay Intelligent Transportation System maintenance requires right lane closures; while grading at Donelson Pike Interchange causes rolling roadblocks daily around noon.

Additionally, other counties such as Dickson with sensor installations on I-40, Wilson with blasting operations causing roadblocks also on I-40, as well as several others face varied traffic interruptions due to TDOT's extensive infrastructure work this week.

TDOT advises motorists to exercise caution in all work zones regardless of active closure status. "Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones," stated TDOT officials.
