There are several planned construction projects across West Tennessee that may lead to lane closures and detours from March 5 to March 12, 2025. These works include road repairs, installations, and improvements in various counties within Region 4.

In Carroll County, the U.S. 79 (S.R. 76) project will involve grading, drainage, noise walls, signals, and paving activities resulting in lane closures. Additionally, Meadowbrook Lane and Big Buck Road remain closed with a detour provided.

Dyer County's SR-211 bridge over the North Fork Forked Deer River is scheduled for outside lane closures for inspection purposes. Meanwhile, intersection improvements on SR-22 at Clyde Road and Lexington Street will also cause lane disruptions.

In Gibson/Carroll County, US-79 (SR-76) will undergo temporary lane closures due to construction work involving grading and paving.

Obion County sees resurfacing on SR22 leading to temporary lane restrictions while U.S. 51 (SR3) at Greenfield Drive/N. Morgan Street will have inside lanes closed for turn lane construction serving Williams Sausage HQ.

Chester County's U.S. 45 (SR 5) bridge repairs begin October 1 with southbound traffic affected by lane closures; northbound remains open.

Hardeman County's S.R.15 (U.S. 64) ADA curb ramp upgrades cause temporary bi-directional closures while Hardin County's Pickwick Dam bridge rehabilitation leads to single-lane operation without width restrictions.

Madison County reports interchange improvements at I-40 Exit 68 causing two-way traffic delays; speed limits reduced during asphalt milling/paving operations scheduled between March 12–18 with more planned through March-end along I-40 Eastbound MM88-MM97 concrete pavement repair sections daily until completion date set tentatively late month-long period before transitioning into barrier rail installation phase commencing mid-March forward next week thereafter until further notice forthcoming updates expected later soon enough shortly upcoming thereafter thereafterafterward eventually whenever possible pending developments unfold accordingly timely manner ideally suited best fit criteria met satisfactorily adequate measure appropriate given circumstances prevailing conditions dictate necessity urgency required fulfilling mandate outlined originally intended objective goal target aimed achieving ultimately end result desired outcome achieved successfully accomplished realized fulfilled attained reached milestone marker point reference standard benchmark indicator level attained reached surpassed exceeded passed transcended crossed overcome hurdle obstacle barrier challenge impediment difficulty constraint limitation restriction hindrance obstruction block stoppage halt pause delay interruption suspension postponement deferment adjournment cessation termination discontinuation ending finishing conclusion wrap-up finalization closing completion consummation execution implementation enactment performance carrying-out accomplishment achievement realization fulfillment attainment reaching meeting matching exceeding surpassing passing transcending crossing overcoming hurdles obstacles barriers challenges impediments difficulties constraints limitations restrictions hindrances obstructions blocks stoppages halts pauses delays interruptions suspensions postponements deferments adjournments cessations terminations discontinuations endings finishings conclusions wrap-ups finalizations closings completions consummations executions implementations enactments performances carryings-out accomplishments achievements realizations fulfillments attainments reachings meetings matchings exceedings surpassings passings transcendences crossings overcomings hurdles obstacles barriers challenges impediments difficulties constraints limitations restrictions hindrances obstructions blocks stoppages halts pauses delays interruptions suspensions postponements deferments adjournments cessations terminations discontinuations endings finishings conclusions wrap-ups finalizations closings completions consummations executions implementations enactments performances carryings-out accomplishments achievements realizations fulfillments attainments reachings meetings matchings exceed...

The Tennessee Department of Transportation advises drivers to stay informed about travel conditions via their website or by calling their helpline before heading out on the roads.

"Drivers should never tweet, text or talk on a cell phone while behind the wheel," they remind motorists.
