Lane closures are expected across various locations in Region 4, affecting several counties due to ongoing construction and repair projects. These activities include grading, drainage, noise wall installation, paving, bridge inspections, and improvements at intersections.

In Carroll County, lane closures will occur on SR-76 (US-79) from near SR-77 to near Cutlip Lane due to grading and paving work. Meadowbrook Lane and Big Buck Road have been closed since September and November 2024 respectively. Additionally, intersection improvements on SR-22 at the Huntingdon Industrial Park entrance will also result in lane closures.

Dyer County will see outside lane closures on SR-211 for bridge inspection over the North Fork Forked Deer River starting August 9, 2024. In Gibson/Carroll County, similar work on US-79 (SR-76) from west of Cades-Atwood Road to east of SR 77 will cause temporary lane closures.

Obion County is affected by resurfacing on SR22 from SR5 to SR21 and turn lane construction on U.S. 51 (SR3) at Greenfield Drive/N. Morgan Street for State Industrial Access support serving Williams Sausage HQ.

Chester County's U.S. 45 (SR 5) bridges over overflow areas are undergoing repairs with southbound traffic experiencing lane closures starting October 1, 2024. In Hardin County, rehabilitation of the Pickwick Dam bridge on SR128 will cause temporary lane closures but maintain one open lane at all times.

Madison County has scheduled concrete pavement repair along I-40 eastbound between Exit 87 and MM91.6 with right lanes closed during specified nighttime hours depending on weather conditions.

Fayette County's SR-222 project includes grading and paving that results in temporary two-way traffic restrictions with speed limits reduced from 45 MPH to 40 MPH. The construction of a new four-lane section continues under traffic conditions with intermittent closures advised by TDOT.

Shelby County experiences multiple impacts including widening activities along Lamar Avenue (SR-4), where speed limits are reduced from South Shelby Drive through Raines/Perkins Road interchange; shoulder closure impacts daily east-westbound movements along Austin Peay Hwy; nighttime pavement marking activities affect Walnut Grove Rd.; pothole patching operations occur daily within restricted hours around Airways Blvd., Danny Thomas Blvd., Hernando DeSoto Bridge repair initiatives restrict speeds further downriver while Crump Blvd.'s modification closes sections intermittently as necessary detours arise alongside E.H.Crump Interchange modifications under strict safety protocols enforced via reduced travel lanes monitored closely throughout affected zones surrounding Memphis-Arkansas
