Drivers in Bradley County should prepare for traffic disruptions on State Route 60 due to scheduled road construction. On February 26 and 27, from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am each night, Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) contract crews will close Paul Huff Parkway at its intersection with SR 60 (Georgetown Road) for grading and paving.

Motorists are advised to detour via Candies Creek Ridge Road and Candies Creek Lane. Caution is urged when traveling through the area, and alternate routes should be considered during the closure times. The work is dependent on weather conditions, and any delays caused by inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances will result in rescheduling.

Uniformed police officers will assist with traffic control. Drivers are reminded to utilize motorist information tools wisely, check travel conditions before departure, and avoid distractions such as tweeting or texting while driving. TDOT SmartWay Map provides updates on construction activities, and statewide travel information can be accessed by calling 511.

The Move Over Law has been in effect since 2006 in Tennessee. Violating this law can result in penalties of up to 30 days in jail and a maximum fine of $500.
