The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has endorsed Senator Marsha Blackburn for re-election to the United States Senate. NFIB, a prominent advocacy group for small businesses, highlighted Blackburn's support on key tax and labor issues.
"Senator Marsha Blackburn has been a consistently strong supporter of small business on critical tax and labor issues," stated Jim Brown, NFIB Tennessee State Director. He emphasized her role as a co-sponsor of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act, which aims to provide essential tax relief and fairness to many small businesses. Brown added that Blackburn will continue supporting policies that benefit Tennessee's job creators, their employees, and communities.
Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, also expressed support for Blackburn's re-election. "On behalf of Tennessee’s small businesses, we are proud to endorse Senator Blackburn for re-election," she said. Sussin noted Blackburn's reliable advocacy for Main Street and her near-perfect voting record with NFIB during her time in Washington.
The endorsement was issued by NFIB FedPAC, the political action committee of NFIB. This committee is funded through voluntary contributions from NFIB members beyond their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are driven by grassroots evaluations conducted by its members.
