The records requested under the Tennessee Open Records Act, §10-7-503 et seq., include a list of names of all students admitted to the school for the 2024-25 school year with specific fields such as student name, home zip/hometown, and graduated high school name.
As members of the media, we at Volunteer State News are involved in gathering and reporting news to the public. Access to public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities, which include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
