Employee Spotlight 911 Communications Officer Misty Byrge | Anderson County Sheriff's Office
Introducing to the citizens of Anderson County, 911 Communications Officer Misty Byrge! She has served as a 911 Emergency dispatcher for 20 years. Of those, 19 have been with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office’s 911 Dispatch Center.
Misty is certified by Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) in Basic Telecommunications, Active Shooter, CPR, EMS & Fire, as a Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD), National Incident Management System (NIMS) and as a member of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), just name a few. Her years of experience and training make her one of the best in the state.
