The Lady Railsplitters took the victory over Mars Hill University by over 30 points. The final score of the mid-week game is 78-44. The Lady Railsplitters advance to 11-6 overall and 4-4 in conference.
 
In the 1st quarter, Saquita Joyner started LMU off with a layup. Saquita Joyner put up an additional 12 points. Jordan Maney put up a 3 pointer, Kadija Conteh put up a 3-pointer, and Alexa Smiddy put up 2 points. LMU had 11 rebounds, 5 which were from Saquita Joyner. In the 2nd quarter, Alexa Smiddy led the team off with a layup for 2 points. Alexa Smiddy put up an additional 3 points. Kadija Conteh put up 2 points, Lauren Flowers put up 2 points, Saquita Joyner put up a 3-pointer, and Alexis Schulz put up 5 points. LMU put up another 11 rebounds, another 5 by Saquita Joyner. By the end of the first half, Saquita Joyner had a double-double (17 points, 10 rebounds).
 
In the 3rd quarter, Saquita Joyner kicked things off for LMU with a 3-pointer. Saquita Joyner put up another 6 points during the quarter. Alexa Smiddy put up 6 points (2, 3-pointers), Jordan Maney put up 2 points, and Lauren Flowers put up 2 points. LMU had 6 rebounds in this quarter, 2 from Saquita Joyner and 2 from Alexa Smiddy. In the 4th quarter, Kadija Conteh started her team off with a 3-pointer. Saquita Joyner put up 2 points, Alexa Smiddy put up a 3-pointer, Jordan Maney put up 2 points, Lauren Flowers put up a 3-pointer, Grace Day put up 4 points, and Macy Barnes put up a 3-pointer. LMU recorded 9 rebounds in the last quarter, 3 by Grace Day.
 
The Lady Railsplitters capitalized on the Mars Hill Lions, 78-44 this Wednesday evening. Lincoln Memorial will be back in action Saturday, January 21, 2023, home, against Newberry.
