Memphis Athletics invites fans to celebrate 901 Day at a free "Tigers On Tour" event at Grind City Brewing Company (76 Waterworks Ave, Memphis, TN 38107) on Thursday, Sept. 1 from 5-7 p.m.
The event features inflatables in the Pouncer's Pals Kids Zone, lawn games, a food truck outside and food and drink specials inside, and Grind City Brewing will provide a free beer to the first 50 of-age guests.
Tiger head football coach Ryan Silverfield will address the crowd at 6 p.m., as the team will be two days away from the season opener at Mississippi State, as will head women's basketball coach Katrina Merriweather and head baseball coach Kerrick Jackson. Members of the Memphis men's basketball program are also scheduled to attend along with additional Memphis head coaches and staff members.
