Announced by the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) on Monday, junior George Mabry from the University of the South was selected as the SAA Men’s Swimmer of the Week. 

Selected by the league’s head coaches, Mabry won two events on Saturday, helping the Tigers to a win over Tennessee Southern. 

The junior took gold in the 50 free (21.79) and the 100 butterfly (53.11). The Nashville, Tenn. native also claimed silver in the 200 backstroke (2:01.46). 

Mabry and the rest of the Tigers return to the pool on Saturday versus Birmingham-Southern College from the Birmingham CrossPlex.
