The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), a prominent advocacy group for small businesses, has endorsed Senator Marsha Blackburn for re-election to the United States Senate. This endorsement reflects her continued support for small business interests and her legislative efforts on their behalf.
Jim Brown, the NFIB Tennessee State Director, cited Senator Blackburn’s support on key tax and labor issues as a basis for the endorsement. “Senator Marsha Blackburn has been a consistently strong supporter of small business on critical tax and labor issues,” Brown stated. He highlighted her role as a co-sponsor of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act, which aims to provide tax relief and fairness to small businesses. Brown expressed confidence that she will maintain her support for policies benefiting Tennessee’s job creators and communities.
In addition, Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, praised Senator Blackburn for her advocacy for Main Street businesses. Sussin remarked, “On behalf of Tennessee’s small businesses, we are proud to endorse Senator Blackburn for re-election.” She noted Blackburn’s nearly perfect NFIB voting record during her time in Washington and expressed eagerness to continue collaboration.
The endorsement comes from NFIB FedPAC, which is the organization’s political action committee. This committee is supported by voluntary contributions from NFIB members in addition to their membership dues. Decisions regarding endorsements by NFIB FedPAC involve a grassroots evaluation driven by its members.
